Happy Birthday Natalie Wood!
(July 20, 1938-November 29, 1981)
I adored Natalie Wood. She was incredibly generous, which not many people in our industry are. She was extremely driven and in charge of her career. Yet Natalie had a vulnerability about her. A part of her that longed to be taken care of.
Happy 75th Birthday, Natalie Wood

She was very smart, she read a book a week and had a wicked sense of humor. She was just adorable - one of the few movie stars I’ve met who was really worthy of that title.
She lived a very simple life. You know who her friends were? My favorite picture was taken when I brought a new camera over to her house. At the house that day were Laurence Olivier and Elia Kazan. So I have a photo of me, Olivier, Kazan, and Natalie. You look at that picture and the tragedy is you would never think she’d be the first to die.
To go to a New Year’s party at her house was amazing. It was the kind of a thing where Cary Grant came over at 12:30. She was the hub, she was the nexus. She was a child star and everybody loved her. [x]
Thanks. I’m pretty sure I found it on one of the Natalie Wood fansites, but that was so long ago I cannot remember which one. Sorry that I can’t be of more help.
